Real Betis would be interested in the signing of the Moroccan left-handed winger Sofian Boufal, from Southampton, who played on loan for RC Celta a couple of seasons ago and who has only one year left on his contract with the Saints, with whom he played last season a total of 1,082 minutes of play, spread over 25 games (one goal and two assists).
Betis's interest in Boufal (26 years, 1.75 meters) born in Paris and with a French passport, is revealed by the French portal footmercato.net, which places Betis in the most advanced position to take over the services of the Moroccan international, ahead of Ligue 1 teams and other Spaniards who want it.
Southampton would request about four million euros for the transfer of Boufal, who ends his contract in June 2021 and may be free from next January. The 'Saints' paid about 19 million euros for Boufal four years ago, in August 2016, when they signed him from Lille.
