The autopsy, vital to investigate the strange death of Albert Solà, alleged son of Juan Carlos I

Only 66 years old, with no known illnesses, about to be interviewed on TV during prime time, and after having a drink in a bar, he collapses. All very suspicious in the case of the sudden death of the Albert Soláthe alleged illegitimate son of Juan Carlos I, as he insisted on insuring the deceased. Justice waits like water in May for an essential autopsy to find out what or “who” caused his death.

The court of first instance and instruction 3 of La Bisbal d’Empordà has ordered an investigation into the death of the alleged son of Juan Carlos I at the age of 66 because it does not seem normal. Albert Solà was in a bar in his town, La Bisbal (Gerona), having wine with a friend. After taking the glass from the bar, on the way to the table he suddenly collapsed on the floor. Neither the local police nor the emergency services that came after the notice of those present could do anything to bring him back to life.

Solá was popular because he has spent decades defending being the illegitimate son of former Head of State Juan Carlos I and asking to be recognized as such. Precisely at last he was going to have a few minutes of glory, since he had planned to participate in the premiere of the program “Who in my father”, presented by Charlotte Sliding. The sudden death of Solá just before his public appearance has generated all kinds of suspicions that the court wants to confirm or deny through the autopsy.

The new space of Telecinco had been conceived in its beginnings with a clear determination; look for the secret sons of the Bourbons. All the preliminary interviews and preparations for the program had already been done, and even Albert had met with Ingrid Saritauthe other presumed daughter of the emeritus with whom he shared a very high percentage of DNA.

As Informalia published one day after the death of Albert Solá, “there has been the circumstance that, for five and a half months, the president of Mediaset has been Borja Prado y Eulate, son of Manuel Prado and Colón de Carvajal, administrator of Juan Carlos I” and that according to sources from the chain, they were already fearing that the new president would assert his authority, and prevent the program dedicated to the alleged illegitimate son of the king emeritus from being the first to see the light.

Decades to prove being the son of Juan Carlos I

Born in Barcelona in 1956, he was the biological son of Anna María Bach Ramon, a young woman from the Catalan upper bourgeoisie who had a relationship with Juan Carlos de Borbón when he was 18 years old and, of course, was not yet king. He was raised by an adoptive family, the Solá Jiménez. All his life he wanted to demonstrate his affiliation with the emeritus. It was in 2001 when he made it public that he was the eldest son of King Juan Carlos I and, therefore, the heir to the throne of Spain. Together with his alleged sister, who also claims to be the natural daughter of “El Campechano”, they filed a paternity suit in the Supreme Court in 2015.

To the legal action they provided a DNA test with a reliability of 99.9%. The magistrates rejected the case for finding some inconsistencies and lack of data, and also for adhering to the alleged inviolability of the emeritus. Nor did the Constitutional Court pay any attention to them, which stated that there was no “violation of a fundamental right” when both “stepbrothers” filed an amparo appeal.

The DNA tests could be carried out at the time thanks to a request from the CNI, an organization that even provided the appropriate samples to carry out the analyzes in the Jaime Buj laboratory in Lleida, where Solá had to go to provide his genetic information, as publishes Elcierredigital. Solá had always stated that his only claim was that his filiation be recognized, but that he did not want money or access to any coronation.

The alleged son of the emeritus, known in El Bisbal d’Empordà as “El monarca”, had also written a book in 2019 entitled “El monarca de la Bisbal” in which he recounted his life and how he came to know who his biological father was . When his story was finally going to have the desired media impact, death has surprised him very suddenly and very close to being heard.

For this reason, the court handling the case has ordered an autopsy that could be very revealing, and determine if the death was natural, as a result of a state of anxiety or nerves due to the public repercussion of his participation in the television program, or for any reason caused by the decision of third parties.
