The Ordinary General Assembly of the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) has approved this Saturday in Madrid the results balance for the 2021 financial year, which shows a surplus of more than 500,000 euros, the 2022 budget, above 20 million euros, and calendars and competition systems for the 2022-23 season.
The 2021 financial year ended with a surplus of 542,663 euros, product of 23,236,733 euros in income and 22,694,017 euros in expenses, achieving the goal of “a self-financed Women’s Eurobasket” and meeting all the deadlines and justification requirements of the subsidies.
Regarding the 2022 budget, the Assembly has given its approval to a forecast of more than 20,500,000 euros, 84.2% of which correspond to federative income and 15.7% to subsidies from the Superior Council of Sports (CSD).
In addition, the Assembly has renewed Fernando Sequeira, Gilberto Pérez and Félix de Luis in their positions as presidents of the different Competition Committees.
In another order of things, the calendars of the 2022-23 Leagues have also been approved, with a registration deadline until July 1 at 1:00 p.m., with the exception of confirming that of the LF Endesa, depending on the dates of the qualifying phases of the Euroleague and the Eurocup. The FEB Leagues for the 2002-23 season will be played with the same competition systems as in 2021-22.
