The Arthur era ends

Everything indicates that the era of Arthur Melo in Barcelona has its hours numbered. The Brazilian midfielder shares the covers of the Catalan sports newspapers with Miralem Pjanic. The exchange between the two footballers is a matter of hours and all that remains is to formalize the agreement between the parties. The exchange will take the 23-year-old to Turin while the 30-year-old Bosnian goes the opposite way as both entities close an accounting makeup operation that will leave a certain benefit for the Catalans once both players have been priced at 60 and 70 million, respectively.

Sport describes the operation as “Supertrueque” on its cover, where they highlight that the agreement is not yet closed, but that it is imminent and will leave a benefit for the Blaugrana club.

For its part, Mundo Deportivo talks about “Impending Barter”, while El Periódico talks about an exchange of “financial engineering”.
