The agreement sheds light on the promising Primera Iberdrola

A new season of Primera Iberdrola is approaching. In just over two weeks (September 5) and if COVID-19 allows it, the ball will roll again in the highest category of Spanish women's football, with a season the less exciting. One of the great novelties of this new course will be given by the presence of the first female agreement of this category in Spain. The document, also a pioneer in Europe, will regulate the employment situation of the footballers of Primera Iberdrola, with the intention of achieving one more step in professionalization. This last point, that of being a professional League, is presented as the great objective for the coming season., with actions already directed at the CSD by unions, clubs and even political parties, which have exerted their pressure from the Congress of Deputies.

Returning to the agreement, It should be noted that we have collected extremely important issues such as the minimum wage (16,000 euros gross per year at 75% of the working day), maternity, vacations or regulation in the event of injury or image rights. These are just some of the keys to a document that extends to 43 articles and three annexes and whose launch was made to wait, with 443 days of negotiation until the arrival of a preliminary agreement (on December 20) and as many more months of addition until its signature (on February 18) and official status in the BOE (on August 15). COVID-19 was largely to blame for the delay of its official publication, but finally not even the virus could stop the arrival of this much-fought agreement, including a strike by the players. Now, All eyes are cast precisely on the health crisis, because to meet the requirements of this document there must be a stable scenario on which to rely …

The first Real Madrid Female

Other of the historical milestones that this 2020-21 season presents is the launch of the first Real Madrid Femenino. Much of the focus falls on the white club's debut in Primera Iberdrola, to which they arrive with the ambition to finish in the top three positions of the classification, which are the ones that give access to the Women's Champions League. It will certainly not be easy, since this last campaign was very even in the upper middle zone, Without taking into account the intractable Barça, who finished with nine points over Atlético.
