The affectionate detail of Doña Letizia in her meeting with the first lady of Angola

The queen letizia he is always aware of everything. In a public act she captures any detail. On this occasion, in her visit to Angola, she participated with the first lady, Ana Afonso Dias Lourenço, in a meeting with women. It was this Tuesday, February 7, at the Presidential Palace in Luanda, where the Kings have been officially received by the president, Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, and his wife.

The first two ladies have greeted each other by holding hands in a warm and affectionate way. The reception ceremony began with the 21 ordinance salutes and the national anthems of both countries. Felipe VI and the president of Angola reviewed the troops and posed for the group photo.

Later, Doña Letizia has begun her solo agenda. Accompanied by Dias Lourenço, as president of the Ngana Zanza Foundation, she has participated in a meeting with women leaders of Angolan civil society. The music has come from the hand of a folk group, which after her performance has given the Queen two souvenir drumsticks.

During the meeting, Letizia lent her supporting hand to one of the women, who was carrying a guide stick. The meeting of the two first ladies has dealt with the importance of education as a factor to promote empowerment. Both show in their agendas their firm commitment to women and gender equality.
