The AFE and Thebes cited by the investigating judge of the RFEF in Deportivo – Fuenlabrada

The instructor of the procedure opened by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) about the suspended match between the Sports and the Fuenlabrada has issued a new order, to which AS has had access, in which it quotes to declare to the AFE and Javier Tebas. He officiates at the footballers' union at the request of the Coruña club and the president of LaLiga on the part of the Madrid team.

These are not the only new witnesses proposed by both parties, since the By He also proposed to cite the airline Iberia and the Hotel Finisterre, something that was denied by the instructor. In the case of Fuenlabradahave also been proposed and accepted, among others, the general director Patricia Praena, the sports director Miguel Melgar, the security director Miguel Ángel Moreno or the captains Juanma Marrero, Mikel Iribas and Cristóbal Márquez.

These statements, which will be all via telematics, will take place throughout the day tomorrow, Thursday, August 6. They will start in the morning and end in the late afternoon, at which point Thebes will declare.

Third appointment for the other witnesses

In addition, and in another ruling published late on Tuesday, Ricardo Esteban Díaz Sánchez has summoned to testify for the third time, after postponing the previous two, several members of the Madrid team and the agent Rodrigo Fernández Lovelle. The instructor agrees to the interrogation of Juan Manuel Blanco, Fuenlabrada doctor, the footballer's representative Hugo Fraile, the player himself, the team coach, José Ramón Sandoval and the president, Jonathan Praena.

The representative has been quoted after having stated in various interviews that the Fuenlabrada players learned of the positives from COVID-19 on the afternoon of the match with Deportivo at snack time, at the team's concentration hotel in A Coruña.

The instructor reminds them that their communication is considered to be federal order or instruction and that collaborating with the sports authorities constitutes a regulatory obligation, so their non-observance could lead to the purging of disciplinary responsibilities.
