The 43rd Copa del Rey MAPFRE will be played between July 26 and August 2, 2025

MADRID, 27 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE sailing competition will take place between 26 July and 2 August 2025, the Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP) and the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV) confirmed on Tuesday.

On the occasion of the 2025 European ORC Championship, part of the 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, the RCNP and the RFEV have published, four months in advance, the announcement of the competition’s regattas.

As was the case at the 42nd edition held this year, the opening day will take place on the Saturday before the start of the 43rd edition, on July 26, with the traditional ribbon cutting by the authorities, main sponsor and presidency of the RCNP.

The competitions will begin on Tuesday 29 July and will end on Saturday 2 August with the awards ceremony, presided over by King Felipe, in Ses Voltes, under the Cathedral of Palma.

“We hope that the upcoming 43rd edition, with the European Championship, will be one of the most important in the history of the Cup,” said Manu Fraga, director of the RCNP.
