In addition to the German team, as hosts, Albania, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, France, Hungary, England, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania will be at next summer’s event. , Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey.
Spain, Germany, Portugal, France, Belgium and England will be seeded in the group stage draw to be held on December 2 in Hamburg, so they will be placed in Pot 1.
The three remaining places for the continental event will be put up for grabs in the play-off matches that will be played on March 21 and 26, 2024. Bosnia, Estonia, Finland, Wales, Georgia, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Poland and Ukraine are the 12 teams qualified for those ‘Playoffs’.
On Route A there will be Wales, Poland, Estonia and one of these three teams: Finland, Ukraine or Iceland, to be determined in a prior draw; Route B will be made up of Israel, Bosnia and the two remaining teams from Finland/Ukraine/Iceland; Route C will include Georgia, Kazakhstan, Greece and Luxembourg.
