The 16 teams formalize the requirements for affiliation to the LPFF

MADRID, 25 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Women’s First Division already has its 16 teams to compete in the 2022-2023 season, historic for being the first as a professional, after all of them have formalized the requirements for
affiliation to the Professional Women’s Soccer League (LPFF), the employer reported this Monday.

“The First Division of women’s football has already been configured with the 16 clubs that will play in the top category during the 2022/2023 season, after the clubs meet all the requirements for affiliation to the LPFF and registration in the competition, after submitting the documentation required by the LPFF and be approved by its Delegate Commission,” said the LPFF in a press release.

In this way, the championship, which will start on the weekend of September 10 and 11, will be made up of Athletic Club, FC Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla, Betis, Real Sociedad, Levante UD, Deportivo Alavés Gloriosas, Villarreal, Sporting Huelva, Levante Las Planas, Valencia, Alhama CF, Madrid CFF and UDG Tenerife.
