Terrassa win 3-1 against Cerdanyola

Terrassa added three points to their locker after winning 3-1 against Cerdanyola this Sunday at the Olímpic de Terrassa. Terrassa entered the duel with the desire to overcome their points in the standings after losing the last match against Espanyol B by a score of 2-1. On the visitors’ side, Cerdanyola lost 2-3 in the previous match against Formentera. After the result obtained, the team from Tarragona is ninth at the end of the match, while Cerdanyola is eleventh.

The match started in an unbeatable way for the local team, who opened the match with a goal from Morales in the 35th minute, ending the first half with a 1-0 scoreline.

The second half of the confrontation began favorably for the eleven from Tarragona, who increased their difference through a goal by Lucas Viña in the 53rd minute. But later, the eleven from Sardinia reduced differences by making it 2-1 thanks to their success in front of goal by Dan Coll in the 70th minute. However, in the 76th minute, Terrassa distanced themselves with a goal by Akito Mukai, thus ending the match with a result of 3-1.

In the substitution chapter, the Terrassa players who entered the match were Alberto Fernández and Marc, replacing Joel Priego and Akito Mukai, while the Cerdanyola substitutions were Albert and Sanmarti, who entered to replace Elhadji Bandeh and Kilian.

In the match there were a total of three yellow cards only for the team from Sardinia. Specifically, the referee showed three yellow cards to Rubén Gimenez, Elhadji Bandeh and Pinto.

With this defeat, after finishing the game, Cerdanyola was in eleventh place in the table with 39 points. Terrassa, meanwhile, reached ninth place with 41 points.

The next match of the competition for both teams will be played at home: Terrassa will face Formentera and Cerdanyola will play Peña Deportiva.
