MADRID, 2 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, affirmed that the protector of LaLiga Impulso will lead the Spanish competition to be one of the “biggest leagues in the world” and warned that “individuality” in decisions that affect a group can harm the professional soccer team.
“I am very excited because all the clubs have been there, from their presidents to the staff who are working on the LaLiga Impulso project. I think it is important that we work together on this great project, which we have already started and which has to lead us to to be one of the biggest leagues in the world and to overcome the challenges we face,” he said.
This is what Javier Tebas said at the end of the first work session of LaLiga Impulso at the PortAventura theme park Convention Center in Vilaseca (Tarragona), which was attended by more than 350 professionals from LaLiga clubs.
For Javier Tebas there are aspects of development of the clubs that have to “see themselves as a group to make the competition grow” and obtain a large part of their resources. “Individuality in decisions based on a collective idea can harm the collective,” he stressed.
Likewise, the president of LaLiga congratulated himself for getting one of the most important venture capital funds in the world such as CVC to “trust” LaLiga for an important investment means that they have done the job “well”. “And that we have to keep working to make this work much better,” he added.
