On Sunday, Dec. 17, the Chiefs beat the Patriots at Gillette Stadium to Foxborough, Massachusetts. Swift brought her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and some close companions to the game to cheer him on.
Swift’s dad Scott Swift, Brittany Mahomes, and close friends Alana Haim and Ashley Avignone were seen in a suite at the stadium with her. But people who were there had a range of reactions.
Both Swift and her dad wore Chiefs hoodies to match. The pop star also wore a hand-crocheted Chiefs cap with Kelce’s number, 87, on it.
Kut the Knit made it for her and posted a fitting response on Instagram: “TAYLOR SWIFT IS WEARING THE HAT I MADE HER BRB PASSING AWAY, RN.”
Westside Storey, a clothing store in Kansas City that is one of many gaining from the romance between Swift and Kelce, recently gave Swift a bunch of old Chiefs gear.
Chris Harrington, the owner of Westside Storey, told Billboard that his online store got a huge number of orders after Swift donned a red Chiefs jacket to their game last weekend.
Scott and Taylor, a dad and daughter, smiled while snapping selfies together on Sunday. At one point, Mr. Swift pulled out a birthday cake for everyone close to eat. The 13th of December was Taylor’s 34th birthday.
On Sunday, singer Taylor Swift went to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce play for the Kansas City Chiefs against the New England Patriots.
Fans were there to greet Swift, as they always do. One person held a sign that said, “Because the players have to play, play, play, play, play.” “Hi to ‘Tay’ from New England!” referring to her popular song “Shake It Off.”
Others at the stadium, on the other hand, weren’t as happy to see Swift. This was probably partly because she was cheering for the Chiefs, which stood out even more in her gray crewneck and hat.
A video on X (formerly Twitter) showed that loud booing happened when Swift appeared on the Jumbotron, even though she said next to the picture, “Gillette Stadium was the most joyful place on Earth.”
Other people in the video were also seen giving the pop star the thumbs down to show they didn’t like her.
On the other hand, Swift has been busy this week. She had a big night out in New York City for her birthday on Wednesday, while Kelce was at practice in Kansas City. On Sunday, she took a plane to go to the tight end’s game.
A reporter for NESN named George Balekji saw Swift arrive at the stadium. He took a video of a number of dark SUVs and posted it to X, showing Swift getting out of one of them.
Swift’s father Scott, her designer and dear friend Ashley Avignone, Grammy-nominated singer Alana Haim, or Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany were also seen in her box above the game.
Also, Gillette Stadium reminded Kelce of how famous his girlfriend is without meaning to. The hallway had a list of famous players and celebrities who had performed there.
As the Chiefs tight end walked down a hallway, he seemed to see a poster honoring Swift’s May shows at Gillette Stadium.
Swift also went to Kelce’s last two games and made a big appearance at both. Some Buffalo Bills players noticed her on her way to last week’s game, and Green Bay fans were thrilled to see her.
