Takeaways from the Eagles vs. Seahawks game: In the last few minutes, Drew Lock shocked Philadelphia with a TD drive of 92 yards.

After the two-minute warning, the game was tied 17–13. Drew Lock, who started in place with the active but still hurt Geno Smith, led a 10-play, 92-yard drive that ended with a touchdown pass of 29 yards to rookie wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Lock was able to finish another chunk bat to fellow receiver DK Metcalf. With just over a minute to play, Metcalf turned the field over with a 34-yard gain.

With just under 30 seconds left, the Eagles got the ball back, but Seattle defensive end Julian Love picked off Jalen Hurts for the second time that night, ending what could have been Philadelphia’s game-winning drive.

Before this game, the Seahawks were ranked ninth in the NFC. With this win, they are now seventh in the league, seven wins behind the eighth-placed Cardinals. Philadelphia’s record now stands at 10-4 after this loss.

On 22 out of 33 throws, Lock gained 208 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown. It was his first win as a starting in the NFL since December 13, 2020.

On the other hand, Hurts completed 17 out of 31 passes, gaining 143 yards and throwing two picks. He ran to feed 82 yards and scored two times.

Metcalf really came alive upon the last drive. He caught five of six passes for 78 yards, which was the most on the team. He was the game-winner because he caught all four passes for 48 yards.

They will then go back to Philadelphia, where they will play the New York Giants on Christmas Day. The Seahawks will play the Tennessee Titans in Nashville on Christmas Eve.

When the Seahawks had the ball for the last time, Lock led them down the field on a 10-play, 92-yard drive that took only 1:24. Lock completed 5 out of 10 passes for 92 yards and a score on the last drive. With 28 seconds left, he found Smith-Njigba for a touchdown from 29 yards out.

It took Lock 17 tries to throw for 16 yards as well as no scores, so the Seahawks only had 116 yards before the last drive.

Lock completed two out of two passes for 63 yards, both of which went for 25 yards or more in the air.

They were able to sneak out a win at home against a team that pretty much shut them down for 58 minutes. Right now, it’s in second place within the NFC East and the fifth seed in the season.

Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Seattle Seahawks 20–17 on “Monday Night Football,” ending a four-game losing streak. The loss was a huge setback for the Eagles’ hopes of becoming the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC.

Even though Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts had been listed as doubtful due to illness on Sunday, he played and started the game.

For Seattle, backup quarterback Drew Lock started for the second week in a row in place of Geno Smith, who is hurt in the groin.

Because Julian Love picked off the second pass of the night with six seconds left, the Seahawks are right in the mix for a wild-card spot.

The Eagles, on the other hand, are now one game beneath the San Francisco 49ers for the best record within the NFC after their third straight loss. As we head into Week 16, they are tied against the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.

The Seahawks have been on a free fall for the last month. They are now four losses in a row, which is the most losses they’ve had under coach Pete Carroll.

However, when they were up against a strong NFC team, they finally found the release button that would maintain their playoff dreams alive.

The Seahawks beat the Eagles to move back to.500. Their defense played well in the second half, and Lock threw a touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba late in the game.

They could get 10 wins, or a minimum of 9-8, which would be good enough to make the playoffs.

Their last three games, against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Tennessee Titans, and the Cardinals of Arizona, all look like they could be easier wins now that they’ve shown what kind of football they can play.

Most of the signs from the last month suggest that the Seahawks are not good enough to avoid another early round exit from the playoffs.

However, just getting there would stop the rumors about Carroll’s job security that grew louder during their four-game losing streak after a 6-3 start.

Monday night, his team made a big step toward that goal. ESPN’s Football Power Index says that with the win, their chances of reaching the playoffs went up to 55%.
