“Suddenly his heart stopped”

Thanks to the swift action of the emergency services and Captain Simon Kjaer, Danish Captain Christian Eriksen saved his life. This was explained by Martin Boesen, the doctor from Denmark who detailed what the moments of maximum tension were like.

“When we got to Christian, he was unconscious. He was lying on his side and breathing. Initially I could feel a heartbeat. But it suddenly stopped and we immediately began resuscitation. The medical team acted quickly. We did what we had to do and managed to revive Christian. Before they took him to the hospital, he was already talking ”.

Eriksen is stable and is going to undergo further tests to be able to figure out what happened to him. The Danish doctor also said that he does not believe it was a heart attack, which opens the possibility that he had suffered some other type of collapse. In the next few days the matter may be further clarified. The CEO of Inter, Giuseppe Marotta, also clarified that the player has not passed COVID nor has he been vaccinated, in response to some information that said that he could have suffered some consequence of the vaccination.
