Strong whistle on Bale… and he laughs

The meeting on April 9, 2022 will go down in history as Gareth Bale’s return to the Santiago Bernabéu. the welsh striker he had not played in the white coliseum since February 16, 2020, in Real Madrid’s draw (2-2) against Celta. In the 74th minute of the match against Getafe, Ancelotti decided to bring Bale onto the pitch to replace Benzema. The Madrid fans received him with a loud whistle, to which the Welshman responded by laughing.

Bale is living his last days as a Real Madrid player and this Saturday’s match will be one of the few occasions he will have to act in front of what is still his fans. Nevertheless, the Bernabéu stands do not seem to be willing to forgive him for the fact that he has placed Madrid in the background, behind the Wales team. In fact, the whistles from the stands were repeated every time he touched the ball.
