Sterling's adorable neighbors

Gabriel Jesus was ready and Sterling took the opportunity to open the scoring. It was the 8th minute of the game at the Etihad Stadium and thanks to a mistake by Varane, which the Brazilian made good use of, Sterling increased the skyblue's advantage in the tie and also reached a hundred goals as a Manchester City player.

The Kingston player is experiencing the best scoring season of his career with 31 goals in the absence of those he manages to score in the remainder of the Champions League. Seeing Sterling reach the hundred and happy for the victory, the neighbors of the British end wanted to have a nice touch with him.

“I have the best neighbors” along with four hearts appeared above a photo in Raheem Sterling's Instagram stories which showed a Manchester City shirt hanging from a fence with a picture stuck to it that read 'Happy 100 goals!' (Happy one hundred goals!) surrounded by confetti. Both on the green and at home, the Jamaican winger is well surrounded by his 'best neighbors'.

After reaching this mark and eliminating Real Madrid, Manchester City will travel to Portugal to play the new final phase of the Champions League. In the quarterfinals the skyblue will have to face Olympique de Lyon, who this Friday knocked down Juventus in the second round.

The secret to getting motivated

Gary Lineker, Once an English striker and now a football commentator on the islands, he revealed a well-kept secret by Raheem Sterling to find motivation for the second leg of the round of 16 against Real Madrid. According to Lineker, Sterling asked for the video of the game against Tottenham in which they ended up eliminated last season to have that “feeling of losing” and arrive with ambition for the game.

“I don't know if I should tell it or it's a secret from Raheem but I know that he contacted BT to ask for the video of last season's game against Tottenham in which they were eliminated. Not just to see what he did, but he wanted to regain that feeling of losing and what it meant. I wanted to make sure it didn't happen again, “Lineker said. on BT Sport during the postgame.
