Starever, Decathlon’s new dance brand made by dancers for dancers

MADRID, 31 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The sports equipment design and distribution company Decathlon presents Starever, its new brand made up of a line of products for the practice of the different disciplines of dance “made by dancers for dancers,” it reports in a statement.

Decathlon takes another step towards this booming discipline and has teamed up with professionals to create this project. The international teams that are part of it are experienced practitioners of the different dance disciplines surrounded by up to 150 ambassadors who collaborate in the co-creation of the products.

The technicality, quality and versatility of the collections are designed both for the most experienced and for that 3-year-old dancer or those who rediscover dance at an older age.

Each of the collections have been created with materials of natural origin, such as organic cotton, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact by working on innovative technologies and using sustainable materials.

FOUR DISCIPLINES: THE SAME PURPOSE

Starever was born with the desire to satisfy the needs of the different dance disciplines and, for this reason, it creates a collection adapted to the main categories of this sector, from the classical, which adjusts to the dancer’s body, to the contemporary, with fluid textiles composed of breathable, soft materials that dry quickly.

They have also thought about urban dance, which encompasses styles from classic hip-hop or break dance to the most current trends such as reggaeton, trap, KPop or dancehall.

Lastly, Pole Dance is another booming discipline that is gaining more and more followers thanks to the exercise that works the whole body involving aerobic and anaerobic gymnastics, dance and corporal expression where the adherence of the body to the pole is essential.

The fabric must be very elastic, close to the body, easily wick away sweat and allow the body to adhere to the bar.

In addition, it must be visually beautiful and flattering.

Starever’s pole dance sets take into account all these details since they have been created by the brand’s engineers at the hands of Marie Moulin, a world leader in this dance. There are three sets of shorts and tops that provide support and comfort during practice.
