Spain wins the bronze medal at the International Boccia Challenge in Zagreb

The Spanish couple formed by Vasile Agache and Sara Aller won the bronze medal this Saturday in the team category -in the BC4 category for athletes with physical disabilities-, at the International Challenge that is taking place in Zagreb.

Agache and Aller defeated Slovenia (2-4) and Greece (6-9), but lost to Croatia (8-1) and Hungary (1-4), managing to climb to the third place on the podium in the team modality, according to reports the Spanish Federation of Sports for People with Physical Disabilities.

At the individual level, Vasile Agache won the Greek Arty Tsoukali (7-0) and the Ukrainian Artem Kolinko (3-2) in the first round. In the semifinals he lost to Azerbaijani Bahruz Mirzayev (3-1) and in the fight for bronze he lost 6-1 to Czech Radek Prochazka. Sara Aller lost both of her first round matches and was eliminated.
