MADRID, 29 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish soccer team will face Albania and Iceland in friendlies on March 26 and 29, 2022 in Spain as part of its preparation phase for the Qatar World Championship, according to the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) in a statement.
The qualification of the Spanish team for the World Cup directly released the March window to play two friendly matches. For this reason, the RFEF has closed two friendlies in national territory against Albania and Iceland and that will serve as filming for Qatar 2022.
They will be the first matches of the year after having obtained a direct passport in Seville against Sweden in the last match of the qualifying phase.
“The RFEF has already opened the contest to host both games, so the allocated stadiums will be known soon in accordance with the established allocation protocols,” said the body chaired by Luis Rubiales.
