The Spanish rowing team faces options to get several medals in the European Championship, which will be held from May 25 to 28 in the Slovenian city of Bled, and where the best assets could be in the two without and the men’s double sculls , which obtained bronze and silver in the last edition.
Among the ten boats that travel to Slovenia (five men’s, four women’s and one Paralympic), the two without (M2-) and the men’s double sculls (M2x), made up of Jaime Canalejo and Javier García and Rodrigo Conde and Aleix García, stand out. , respectively. Cid and Briz are not the only boats that debut in a major competition, since in this European championship the national team presents new formations, such as the men’s lightweight double sculls (LM2x), with Caetano Horta and Dennis Carracedo; Manel Balastegui makes his debut in the individual category in light skiff. It will also be the first competition for the Paralympic couple made up of Enrique Floriano and Verónica Rodríguez, in the PR3Mix modality.
