Agonizing victory for Dani Miret’s pupils 73-69 against France

The Spanish under-19 basketball team won this Sunday the men’s World Cup in the category, played in Debrecen (Hungary), thanks to its agonizing 73-69 victory in the final against France, decided in extra time by a free kick made by forward Sediq Garuba.
After a low-scoring game, Spain overturned a seven-point deficit (46-53) in the final stages and forced extra time through a vital action by power forward Jordi Rodríguez (63-63) 18.4 minutes from the end .
