Spain falls by the minimum against the Netherlands in its debut in the Women’s Water Polo World Cup

MADRID, 16 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish women’s water polo team lost this Sunday 7-6 against the Netherlands in the first day of Group B in the absolute World Championship, which is taking place in Fukuoka (Japan) and which distributes tickets for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

In Pavilion B of the Marine Messe Fukuoka, the players coached by Miki Oca lost to the Dutch despite starting out winning in the first period. In this way, Spain got off on the wrong foot in a group that it also shares with the selections of Israel and Kazakhstan.
