The Spanish sailing team added a seventh provisional place for the country for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on Tuesday at the World Cup that is being held in The Hague (Netherlands): 49er, 49er FX, Nacra 17, 470 Mixed , ILCA 7, Male iQFOiL and Female iQFOiL.
Spain added the Women’s iQFOiL to the ticket positions to Paris that it already had on track, during one day the race course against a wind of between 8 and 12 knots. On the other hand, the 49ers closed Tuesday with the Spaniards Diego Botín and Florian Trittel in first position, firm candidates for gold. However, they will have to defend their position against the Dutch Lambriex and Van de Werken who follow them by less than one point.

In iQFOiL, Nacho Baltasar started with victory to finish the day fourth again, five points from the podium. The women’s fleet inaugurated its markers, with Pilar Lamadrid as the first Spanish in the table in eighth place in the Top 10 and provisional country place for Spain for Paris 2024.
