Sorribes reigns in the women's MAPFRE League with two roscos

Castellón Sara Sorribes has confirmed her status as the first favorite in the inaugural tournament of the MAPFRE Women's Tennis League which was held at the Club Tennis d’Aro (€ 24,000), in Girona. In the final of this Sunday He has successfully passed British Amanda Carreras 6-0 6-0.

Spanish final in Cornellá

Barcelona's Oriol Roca (No. 234) has won the first appointment of the MAPFRE “Valor” Tennis League held at UP Pàdel & Tennis Cornellà-Bcn (€ 12,400), after beating the Almerinese in the final this Sunday Javier Barranco (No. 296) 7-5 6-4.

The Santa Coloma de Gramanet player has 24 titles on the ITF world circuit, in addition to an ATP Challenger final in 2015 (Kenitra, Morocco). This year he had been a quarterfinalist in the ITF World Tennis Tour M25 in Murcia before the competition stopped.

In Cornellá, he has reached the final, beating Adrián Menénez from Marbella in the quarterfinals and Nikolás Sánchez-Izquierdo (6-4 6-2) in Barcelona.
