Sorribes continues in the Monterrey Tournament

The Canadian Leylah Fernández started the defense of her title at the Monterrey Open on Monday with victory over the Slovakian Anna Schmiedlova in straight sets 6-2 and 6-2, in the first round of the WTA 250 tournament.
