Sony has added one more model of headphones to its LinkBuds series, the LinkBuds S, to enjoy music, video or content from social networks, with its high resolution and noise cancellation technology, which the user can enjoy while playing sports or travel to the office.
The headphones are wireless, small and very light, weighing approximately 4.8 grams. LinkBuds S combine an ear-hugging design with an ergonomic design for a more stable fit to avoid annoying earaches that get in the way of your entertainment.
These headphones combine the innovative concept of ambient sound, which allows you to interact with the world around you, with high-quality noise cancellation so you can focus on your favorite content.

Sony is collaborating with its sister company Niantic in the area of AR audio, developing an AR game that can be enjoyed not only visually but also aurally. When playing ‘Ingress’ using the LinkBuds S, spatial sound and sensor technologies allow gamers to enjoy a new experience.
Making a call on a noisy street or on a windy day has never been easier than with the LinkBuds S, thanks to precise voice recognition technology that optimizes control of the microphones in each of the earbuds and the use of a mesh structure around them.
LinkBuds S create immersive sound and authentic playback, so you can enjoy music, video or social media content just the way its creators intended.
With the help of a new 5mm driver, these little headphones pack a punch, reproducing powerful bass and incredibly clear vocals despite their size, bringing out the best in whatever genre or entertainment you choose.
Meanwhile, Sony’s built-in processor V1 facilitates noise cancellation, improving sound quality and reducing distortion with less power for distraction-free listening on busy commutes.
These new headphones will also let you experience high-resolution wireless sound thanks to LDAC, the industry-adopted audio coding technology. The high frequencies of all your music will be restored through the use of DSEE Extreme which enhances music files in real time, allowing you to appreciate each and every one of the finest details that the artist imprinted on your favorite audio tracks.
SIMPLE HANDS-FREE
With the help of the chat option, based on Voice Pickup technology, the music will automatically pause when talking to someone, facilitating a conversation when your hands are full.
These new headphones, compatible with the Google Assistant and Alexa, allow you to connect with friends and family, get information, listen to music and, among other options, set reminders.
Thanks to the intuitive touch sensor control panel you can change sound settings, activate Quick Attention and even resume playback of Spotify or Endel. All with just a few taps on the headphones.
The LinkBuds S work with Google’s new Fast Pair feature, which makes it quick and easy to pair the earbuds with your Android device. Swift Pair makes it quick and easy to pair your headset with Windows 11 or Windows 10 laptops, PC desktops, or tablets.
These headphones are ready to work with LE Audio, the next generation of Bluetooth audio that supports ultra-low latency, ideal for gaming.

The LinkBuds S have been created to be elegant and to take care of the environment. As with the rest of the LinkBuds series, the earphones’ packaging is plastic-free and the earphones use materials recycled from car parts, reflecting Sony’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its products.
With a full day’s charge – 6 hours with noise cancellation activated – in your headphones and another 14 hours in the compact charging case, with just 5 minutes of fast charging you will have up to 60 minutes of autonomy.
The LinkBuds S are available in white, black and ecru and are priced at approximately 200 euros and are on sale from the end of May 2022.
