midfielder Silvia Meseguer has signed for Seville Women for the next season from the Atletico Madridthe Sevilla club reported this Friday.
Meseguer, 33, arrives at Sevilla after a long career in clubs such as the current Zaragoza, Espanyol and the Madrid team, in which he has played nine seasons and has achieved three consecutive leagues (2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19), the Queen’s Cup for the 2015/16 season and the 2021 Spanish Super Cup.
The midfielder from Teruel has added more than 100 games with her home club and has her place in the Paseo de Leyendas del Wanda Metropolitano along with her now partner in Sevilla Amanda Sampedro, with which he precisely shared captaincy in the rojiblanco club.
Meseguer has played more than 50 games with the Spanish team in his long career between friendlies and major championships.
In this last season, the new Sevilla player has accumulated a total of 1,880 minutes spread over 30 games, 27 in the league, one in the Cup and two in the Spanish Super Cup.
