Sergio González, coach of Valladolid, was “happy” for the victory added at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez against Getafe and declared that his team showed “personality to play a very complete game.”
Valladolid won the Getafe stadium thanks to a lone goal from Israeli international Shon Weissman in the 37th minute.
“We have understood the rival and the field in front of us and we have shown personality against a very dangerous opponent who always generates many problems for you. In the defensive phase the team has been good, as well as having the ball,” said Sergio, in a conference press.
The Valladolid coach valued the victory positively because his players are “working hard even though the results are not good.”
“The team had personality so as not to fall behind and we finished at a good level. We have to appreciate that we have won in a field in which many of the teams that fight with us are not going to win and that is why it was also important,” Sergio confessed , who did not want to put Getafe in the group of teams that will fight for permanence.
“It would be very daring to say that Getafe will fight with us for the same objective, although then the classification puts each one in a place,” he concluded.
