MADRID, 28 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish footballer Sergio Rico, goalkeeper of Paris Saint-Germain, reappeared this Tuesday in the Parc des Princes after having gone through an induced coma, due to the accident with a horse that he suffered on May 28 in El Rocío (Huelva).
In the run-up to a PSG match against Newcastle United, on matchday 5 of the Champions League, Rico returned to the Paris stadium for the first time after his mishap, which caused a head injury and forced him to be sedated as part of the treatment.
Due to his accident, the Spanish goalkeeper was admitted to the Virgen del Rocío University Hospital for 83 days. Thus, on August 18, he was discharged and left the hospital accompanied by her wife, journalist Alba Silva, who throughout that time informed the press about the condition of her husband.
