Luka Modric Elche wore the Real Madrid captain’s armband for the first time since joining the Whites. With Benzema not called up and Marcelo substituted, Modric wore the bracelet after the Brazilian’s change.
“Proud to be captain of Real Madrid for the first time. Good victory for the team ”, wrote Modric on his social networks. A publication that did not take long to have responses from colleagues such as Vinicius, Marcelo or Marco Asensio who wrote “What a captain!” putting, in addition, an emoji of a top hat.
One of those reactions was Sergio Ramos, former teammate of Modric and captain of Real Madrid. “That really is a captain. Big my Brate ”, wrote Sergio Ramos who has a close relationship with Modric with whom he has shared vacations and both remain in permanent contact after Sergio Ramos left for PSG.
