The Cádiz coach, Sergio González, has renewed his contract with the team until 2025, the Andalusian club confirmed this Saturday, which will continue to trust the Catalan coach after achieving permanence in the First Division.
The man from L’Hospitalet de Llobregat arrived in Cádiz in January 2022 after the dismissal of Álvaro Cervera, achieving two consecutive stays in LaLiga Santander and becoming the coach in history with the highest percentage of victories (29.09%) and with the lowest loss rate (36.36%) in the highest category.
The yellow team finished the season in fourteenth position with 42 points, two more than the relegation team, after reaping ten wins, 12 draws and 16 losses in the 38 games played.
In addition, the club reported that the relationship of the rest of the components of the coaching staff is also extended until 2025.
