FC Barcelona footballer Sergi Roberto will miss Tuesday’s Champions League match against Benfica at the Camp Nou due to discomfort in the quadriceps of the right thigh, the Barça club confirmed on Monday.
“The first team player Sergi Roberto continues with discomfort in the quadriceps of the right thigh. He is low and evolution will mark his availability,” said the entity on its social networks.
The new culé coach, Xavi Hernández, will not be able to count on the injured Moussa Wague, Ansu Fati, Martin Braithwaite and Pedri González or the Argentine striker Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero, still pending tests and his evolution after suffering a cardiac arrhythmia.
