The Williams saga could have its continuity in the women's circuit. Although Venus and Serena are still active in their almost 40s, the prolific saga of the two sisters could continue in the not too distant future.
An example of this is the last photo that Serena Williams has posted on her Instagram account. In it, the 23 Grand Slam champion (she is one to equal Margaret Court's record) appears proudly watching her little Alexis Olympia as she tries to hit the ball with her racket with a two-handed backhand. “Turn, back, reach, head, go forward,” Serena wrote next to the photo.
It should be noted that Alexis Olympia has tennis in her blood since her mother Serena won her last Grand Slam title in 2017 at the Australian Open when she was only a few weeks pregnant with her. Time will tell if Alexis Olympia follows in the successful footsteps of her mother in the world of tennis and if she extends the dominance of the Williams saga on the women's circuit.
