Second case of positive for Covid-19 in Espanyol

Espanyol has announced this wednesday a second positive by Covid-19 among the members of the Blue and White first team.

As explained by the entity through a statement, after the PCR tests that were carried out this Monday on the staff, the coaching staff and the rest of the collaborators linked to the first team, a possible positive case of Covid-19.

Although the result did not seem conclusive, the affected person was immediately isolated at his home, following the protocols established by LaLiga and the health authorities. AND In the last hours and despite being asymptomatic, it has been confirmed that it is a positive case, so he will continue with isolation waiting to repeat new PCR tests in the coming days.

As reported this noon Onda Cero, the infected would be a soccer player who he is training with the first team, but he has a filial file.

In relation to the first affected by Covid-19 which was detected last week, when the Blue and White team returned to work and resumed training under the orders of Vicente Moreno, “He continues to show no symptoms and all that remains is to maintain the established protocol of PCR tests that he must undergo in the next few days before being able to join the training sessions.”
