Sean Stellato, Tommy DeVito’s lawyer, explains what he did after the pizza place mess.

Sean Stellato, Tommy DeVito’s agent, says that his client is still working with the Giants quarterback even though there was a problem with his appearance at a pizza place.

The pizzeria had originally advertised DeVito’s appearance, but had to cancel it because the planned appearance fee went up more than expected.

A story from The Post’s Paul Schwartz said that DeVito has replaced Stellato via agent Maxx Lepselter for marketing.

On Wednesday, Stellato was on “The Claman Countdown” on Fox Business Network and was asked concerning his current relationship with DeVito.

The two said, “Our relationship is better than it’s ever been.” Stellato said that the last time he talked to DeVito was Tuesday night after which the two of them hugged as he left the quarterback’s house.

“Tony knows who I have his best interests at heart, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We’re getting along really well. It’s clear that he’s changed a lot. It’s been fun to see him grow, and we’re both very focused right now.

The appearance got a lot of attention because restaurateur Nino Coniglio said Stellato broke an agreement in general by raising his charge from $10,000 to $20,000 for DeVito’s appearance as the quarterback became more of a cult figure.

Stellato said on Fox Business, “There was clearly a misunderstanding, and if I was the one who caused it, I’m sorry.” “That wasn’t what I meant.” As I already said, our main goal is to play football.

After a fight over an appearance fee threatened to ruin things, New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito has made peace with Coniglio’s Old Fashioned Pizzeria to Morristown, New Jersey.

After the Giants’ recent win over the Green Bay Packers, the controversy started when Coniglio said DeVito’s lawyer told them that the appearance fee would double, from $10,000 to $20,000.

Anyone who is proud to be Italian-American would be scared to fight with a famous New Jersey pizzeria.

However, Tommy DeVito, quarterback for the New York Giants, is back on good terms with Coniglio’s Old Fashioned Pizzeria with Morristown after he stopped by for free on Tuesday.

The argument got a lot of attention earlier this week when the pizzeria’s owner, chef Nino Coniglio, wrote on Instagram on Sunday that he regretted canceling the rising NFL star’s appearance because DeVito’s agent, Sean Stellato, raised his fee from $10,000 to $20,000 after the Giants beat the Green Bay Packers 24–22 on December 11.

A New Jersey pizzeria said that Tommy DeVito’s agent raised the price for an autograph signing, so DeVito is trying to make peace with them.

The pizza place shared a picture of DeVito and Coniglio laughing and holding up the quarterback’s now-iconic Italian finger-crossed pose.

DeVito, the 25-year-old quarterback for the New York Giants, has become one of the NFL’s biggest feel-good stories this season after taking over for Daniel Jones, who was hurt, and Tyrod Taylor, who was his backup.

The rookie who wasn’t picked in the draft still lives with his parents in Cedar Grove, New Jersey.

He quickly became a fan favorite following leading the Giants to three straight wins. In honor of his Italian background, his friends called him “Tommy Cutlets.”

But a public fight between DeVito’s agent Sean Stellato or the New Jersey-based Coniglio’s Old Fashioned Pizzeria could hurt the quarterback’s ties with his neighborhood that he had been building up over the past few weeks.

That is, until Tuesday afternoon, when DeVito made things right by going to the shop without getting paid and sitting down with the owner, Nino Coniglio, for a slice.

According to Coniglio, the appearance almost didn’t happen. He said earlier this week that he was canceling the event because he heard from Stellato, DeVito’s agent, that his client’s fee had doubled from $10,000 to $20,000 after leading the Giants to a dramatic come-from-behind win against the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football last week.
