Sean Bratches leaves the commercial address of Formula 1

MADRID, Jan. 20 (SportsFinding) –

Formula 1 announced on Monday that Sean Bratches will leave his position at the end of this month as the head of commercial operations after three years, although he will remain linked to the competition as an advisor in the United States.

In early 2017, Bratches joined the new team formed by Liberty Media to transform Formula 1 after the acquisition of this business controlled by Bernie Ecclestone. Now, the executive has decided to return to the United States to be closer to his family, according to F1 on his official website.

“The last three years in Formula 1 have been an incredible journey that I enjoyed a lot. I am proud to leave Formula 1 in a better position than when I joined in 2017 and I know that the base we have established as a team will continue to serve our fans around the world and reaching new audiences, “said Bratches.

For his part, the CEO of the competition, Chase Carey, thanked the “leadership, passion and wisdom” that Bratches has given the new F1. “Sean has transformed the commercial aspect of Formula 1. I am pleased that he remains an advisor from his home in the United States. He will always be part of the Formula 1 family and I look forward to his advice and advice.
