Sarabia: “I encourage people to be together, it’s the most beautiful thing about a nation”

MADRID, 9 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The striker of the Spanish team Pablo Sarabia was “happy” with the performance of Spain in the three Nations League games so far, after the victory (0-1) against Switzerland and despite suffering “until the end”, and encouraged people to be united around the national team.

“We have played a good game, we have won 0-1 and we have suffered until the end, but it was time to win. These three points are very valuable to get back into the fight,” he said in statements to TVE, collected by Europa Press, from Geneva.

Sarabia was the author of the 0-1 that puts Spain with five points and ready to fight for first place that gives access to the ‘Final Four’. “We have our philosophy, there are times when we can develop it better than others, it depends on the rival”, he pointed out.

“I am happy with the three games we have played. I encourage people to be all together, because it is the most beautiful thing in a nation, being all together not only in football, in everything, that we support the national team and that together we achieve things,” he said.

“Football has no memory, we’ve already had similar situations in the European Championship, and now another. It’s the good thing about this team that we always want more,” he concluded.
