Sara Sorribes wins and signs the double in Castellón

Sara Sorribes signed a double at home, in CT Castellón and in the Mapfre League, defeating Cristina Search for 6-2 and 6-4, in one hour and thirty-nine minutes.

After getting the title in Platja d'Aro last week, now in his native Castellón, Sorribes asserted his best ranking and his greatest experience to break a Bucsa that started strong but had to give in to the good tennis of his rival.

Bucsa started by breaking the service to Sorribes and putting up great resistance at all points, but little by little the Castellón was taking control of the game, by making few mistakes, to close the first round by 6-2 in 47 minutes of play.

In the second set, the heat and the changing wind gusts made it difficult the game of the two protagonists, but Sorribes was better adapted to circumstances and took the victory after signing a 6-4 in 52 minutes.
