The Spanish power forward Santi Aldama added ten points in the tight defeat of the Memphis Grizzlies against the Utah Jazz (124-123), an NBA game in which the Tennessee team lamented the loss of Ja Morant, while Serge Ibaka celebrated the triumph of the unbeatable Milwaukee Bucks against the Atlanta Hawks (123-115).
At the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City, the Grizzlies (4-2) snapped their two-game winning streak by falling to the Jazz (5-2), third in the Western Conference. Point guard Ja Morant missed the duel due to illness and Desmond Bane’s 32 points and Dillon Brooks’ 30 weren’t enough to prevent the loss.
Aldama from the Canary Islands, who started, enjoyed almost half an hour of play, a time in which he managed to score 10 points -4 of 8 field goals, including 2 of 5 triples-, capture 3 rebounds and provide 1 assist.
Meanwhile, the Bucks (5-0) continue to be unstoppable with plenty of victories in the NBA (5-0) to consolidate their leadership in the Eastern Conference. The Spanish-Congolese power forward Serge Ibaka contributed with 2 points and 2 rebounds in just over 10 minutes.
