San Fernando takes the victory after defeating UCAM Murcia 2-3

San Fernando added three points to its locker after winning 2-3 against UCAM Murcia this Sunday at BeSoccer La Condomina. UCAM Murcia faced the duel with the intention of adding more points to their locker after drawing 1-1 in the last duel against Sabadell. On the visitors’ side, San Fernando beat RM Castilla at home by 3-1 and previously did so away from home, against Castellón by 1-3. With this good result, the island team is fifth, while UCAM Murcia is eighteenth at the end of the game.

The match started favorably for the island team, who opened the match with a goal from Rodrigo Sanz in the 9th minute. However, in the 12th minute, UCAM Murcia reacted and leveled the game thanks to a goal from Josema. After this, the first half ended with a score of 1-1.

Halfway through the match came the goal for San Fernando, who took the lead with a goal from Biabiany in the 70th minute. But later the Murcian team achieved the tie through a goal by Armando in the 78th minute. However, the visiting team put their team ahead through a goal from Bicho just before the final whistle, specifically in the 85th minute. Finally, the confrontation came to an end with a 2-3 scoreline.

The UCAM Murcia coach, Salva Ballesta, brought Alberto Fernández, Xemi and Ferrán Giner onto the field to replace Rubén Mesa, Isi Ros and Fullana, while Nacho Castro replaced Pedro Benito, Marc Carbó and Luis Ruiz by Francis Ferrón, Biabiany and Caballero.

The referee gave a yellow card to Fullana, Josema and Isi Ros by the local team and Francis Ferrón by the island team.

With this away win, Nacho Castro’s team was in fifth place with 40 points, in playoff position for promotion to the Second Division, while Salva Ballesta’s team was in eighteenth place with 24 points at the end of the match.

The next match of the First RFEF for UCAM Murcia is against Sevilla At., while San Fernando will face Albacete.
