Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, fourth seeded, and Russian Veronika Kudermetova have qualified for the final of the Abu Dhabi tournament after defeating in the semifinals the Greek Maria Sakkari and the Ukrainian Marta Kostyuk, respectively.
Sabalenka extended her streak to fourteen wins in a row by beating the player Helena in 57 minutes 6-3 and 6-2, which he has won in his last four games.
Kudermetova will play her first final on the WTA circuit, by overcoming, with many more problems, Kostyuk, 7-6 (8) and 6-4.
The Russian had never beaten the Ukrainian in the four previous matches, but this time she was more successful in the resolution of both sleeves and took the match in one hour and 40 minutes to earn the right to fight for his first title.
Sabalenka beat Kudermetova in the only match they have played, in 2015 at the challenger circuit.
