MADRID, 28 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
American Ryan Crouser broke his own shot put world record by throwing 23.56 meters at the USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix, the seventh stop on the World Athletics Gold Tour.
The American improved his own world record by 19 centimeters, which he had since the Eugene Trials in June 2021. The record was under threat from Crouser’s first pitch, a 23.23, until 23.56 came on the fourth attempt.
