The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales, and the deputy secretary general of the RFEF, Miguel Garcia Caba, have filed a complaint against the president of the Fuenlabrada CF, Jonathan Praena, for a crime of slander.
According to sources from the Federation to which he has had access Europa Press, both Rubiales and Caba have presented this accusation in court against a Praena who in recent days has declared that in the RFEF there is “corruption”, “criminals” and “scoundrels”.
Praena, as president, has led the defense of the interests of his club since last July 20 the match between Deportivo de La Coruña and the Madrid team was suspended, due to a succession of cases of coronavirus in the 'Fuenla'.
Before the file opened by the RFEF and the sanction proposals of the investigating judge, the last and most relevant being that of administrative descent, Praena has charged harshly in every interview against the Federation, especially Rubiales and Caba, which has led to this lawsuit for false accusations.
