Rubén García prepares his fourth project in Huesca

Rubén García has three months ahead of him to put together the squad for his fourth project at Huesca. Their initial objectives are to choose a coach, which they want to close as soon as possible, Xisco has already announced that he will not continue, and sign the forward that they have missed so much this season (Gaicha has scored a goal, Pitta two and Poveda another two). The club will have a budget similar to this campaign, which It will be around 12 million euros and the objective will be to fight for promotionmaintaining the defensive base of this season.

Huesca has 19 players under contract, although some, like Juan Carlos and Buffarini, are unlikely to continue and will seek transfers for Sandro and Álvaro Fernández, after being on loan this year at Getafe and Brentford, respectively. Everything indicates that they will continue: Andrés and San Román, as goalkeepers; Pulido, Insua, Florián and Ratiu, in defense; Timor, Salvador, Marc Mateu, Ferreiro, Joaquín, Lombardo and Gerard Valentín, as midfielders; and Write on the attack. These 14 players could be joined by Pablo Martínez and Ignasi Miquel, who have just been loaned out, but who fit into the future plans. Thus, Rubén García should sign eight or nine footballers for the next course.

The top sports official has on his resume the promotion he achieved with Míchel. Since then he has accumulated four coaches in the last two seasons, and He did not get the difficult permanence in the First Division and this course has been a fiasco. The bets on the Mexican Ambriz as coach or on strikers like Gaich and Pitta have marked a year that has ended with a discreet permanence. The next campaign will have to be right, since it will be the last opportunity for strong economic investment for a club that has enjoyed two promotions to the highest national category in the last five years.
