Rozada: “There is one non-negotiable thing, the team is always going to win”

The new coach of Racing de Santander, Javier Rozada, is aware of the “requirement” involved in leading the Cantabrian team, where he hopes to give his “best version”, and has stated that there is something “non-negotiable”, that the team will go out to win in all fields.

Rozada, who has appeared in his official presentation together with the head of the club's sports strategy, José María Amorrortu, and the technical secretary, Pedro Menéndez, reported that he was always “optimistic” about his arrival at Racing and explained that throughout the moment there has been “good harmony” between the two parties.

The Asturian coach comes to Santander without his own technical staff and, in the absence of the arrival of a second coach, the club will provide him with the rest of the technical team. Javier Rozada has indicated that he likes teams “protagonists with the ball, vertical, intense, pressing on the opposite field and having balance”. And he has asserted that “first thing is the result“and the second is that the racinguista fan feels” identified and proud “of the team.

Rozada has stated that he is a “temperamental but not conflictive person” and has assured that he now represents “a First Division club where the demand will be maximum and it has to be up to it. “

For his part, José María Amorrortu has stated that it is an “important day for Racing” and has indicated that Rozada “respond to the profile and idea “the club was looking for“He has also underlined the ability of the new Verdiblanco coach to work and develop young footballers.

Amorrortu has reiterated that the quarry will be the protagonist in the new sports project and, together with the “experienced” players who continue from the first squad, “will be the base” from which the team will be built, although He did not want to give a number of possible signings. In addition, he announced that the goalkeeper Iván Crespo will continue to protect the goal of the Cantabrian team, along with Lucas Díaz, and that a loan will be sought for Jagoba Zárraga
