Romanian Istvan Kovacs will be in charge of refereeing this Wednesday the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals between Manchester City and Atlético de Madrid at the Etihad Stadium (9:00 p.m.), UEFA confirmed this Sunday.
Kovacs, 37, will lead a match for the rojiblancos in the continental competition for the first time.
