AS Roma player Evan Ndicka was discharged from hospital this Monday after confirming that he does not suffer from any cardiac pathology, after collapsing in the match that the capital team played on Sunday away from home against Udinese in Serie A.
“After acute chest pain and non-specific changes in the electrocardiogram performed in the first emergency room of the stadium, the player Evan Ndicka was admitted to the Santa Maria della Misericordia hospital in Udine. First and second level cardiological controls were carried out, which were negative. cardiac pathology,” the club indicated.
“In view of the latest examinations carried out, the clinical picture is compatible with chest trauma with minimal left pneumothorax. The player has been discharged and will undergo further checks in Rome,” he added.
In the 72nd minute of the match played at the Stadio Friuli in Udine, the Ivorian defender collapsed on the pitch without contact with any player. The footballer was removed consciously on a stretcher before being transferred to a local hospital. The match was suspended.
