Rodrygo: “Working with Zidane makes it easier for me to play for the wings”

After participating in the victory with the Brazilian team against Bolivia, Rodrygo spoke from the Rio concentration camp about his feelings this season. The young Brazilian player, aware that his career in the Seleçao As soon as he started, he defined himself as a player who is constantly learning: “I am a boy who listens a lot to what older people say. This year I think I have matured a lot in all areas of my life (explaining his case with the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic). I am very happy that several people have helped me ”.

And one of those people he refers to is his coach at Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane. Rodrygo explained his work with the French coach: “I think that working in Madrid with him makes it easier for me to play for the wings. When I realized that I would have more opportunities if I learned to play both ways, it was very important to me. In Madrid I started to play more on the right. It has been a process of adaptation, but it gives me options not only to do it in the team, but also in the National Team. That favors me”.

Too he refused to be compared to Robinho and Neymar.
