Rodolfo Sancho and Silvia Bronchalo, together in Thailand: they protect Daniel Sancho after the judge’s latest decision

This November 27 was a key day for the future of Daniel Sanchosince it was planned that it would be this Monday when his lawyers would present the evidence in his defense, and that later the judge would set the date on which his trial would be held for the alleged murder and dismemberment of Edwin Arrieta.

However, this has not been the case, since after a hearing of more than three hours, the Samui Court magistrate in charge of the case has decided to postpone its decision for three weeks and give both parties a period of time to continue gathering evidence and witnesses until next December 12.

With the presence in the courts of Rodolfo Sancho and Silvia Bronchalo, who have evidenced their distance by entering and leaving separately from this new judicial hearing of their son – whom they have made clear that they continue to support unconditionally despite the fact that they have been sparing in words before the cameras – in which the judge has given more time to the defense of the Spanish chef to try to prove that Edwin Arrieta’s murder was not a premeditated murder but an ‘accident’.

Although this new appearance of Daniel before the judge has taken place behind closed doors, it has emerged that The young man has heard again the three charges he faces: murderpremeditated crime, concealment of the body and theft and destruction of documentation from the Colombian surgeon, of which he only acknowledges that he dismembered and disposed of the mortal remains of the deceased.

Besides, This Monday Edwin Arrieta’s family entered the scenesince although there is no private prosecution in Thailand, they have hired a law firm in the Asian country to try to have access to the summary and join the Prosecutor’s Office during the trial, trying to achieve, as they have already announced, that “the full weight of the law falls on” the son of Rodolfo Sancho.

Now Daniel’s lawyers, led by Marcos García Montesthey have until December 12 to hire a Thai lawyer who wants to work under their defense guidelines and continue collecting evidence to try to ensure that the chef is not sentenced to capital punishment.
